Given the success of our first RoR Speed Dating event on November 2011, we have decided to come back full force and bring to SF the second edition of this event! It is a must-attend for any RoR developer with over 1+ years of experience looking to work for a hot company in the Bay Area.

We hear you, and that’s why the SF Ruby Group has combined with PariSoMa and Captain Recruiter to bring you RoR Developer-Employer Speed Dating. We want to help you find the perfect new job. They need you, you need them…these are matches made in heaven.

MEET 15 EMPLOYERS IN 1.5 HOURS

We can help you find a new gig, or at least explore the  options out there in the RoR market. RoR Developer-Employer Speed Dating will give you 15 face-to-face meetings (duration: 5 minutes each) with employers looking for RoR talent. We’ll wrap up the event with a free-form social hour where you can meet up to 25 more potential employers. You’ll meet like-minded visionaries looking for RoR developers to help take their companies to the next level.

This event is for RoR developers and companies who want them. There will be 60 total spots available for the speed dating: first come, first serve. Can’t make it in time to date? Don’t worry; there will also be ample time after the dating to mix and mingle with the employers.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

• Experienced RoR developers who’ve just finished a project or contract and are in the market for a new position.
• RoR developers who already have a job, but are interested in other opportunities if the right idea/project came their way.
• RoR developers having trouble finding the right fit and who want a chance to show off their skills. Do you have a stellar project, noteworthy prototype, or something you want to show off? Be sure to bring it to the event. Demo tables will be available during the mingling time after speed dating.
